Chemical Biology — The lecture courses

The goals of Chemical Biology I and II (Chem 421b and 420a) are to effectively portray the boundless excitement and potential for significant discovery that exists at the interface of chemistry and biology, and provide a strong intellectual foundation for projects in Chemical Biology Laboratory. Students will explore how chemical ideas and techniques probe important questions in modern biology and how the structures and functions of biological molecules inspire the creation of new chemistry.
